HIGH SCHOOL SCHEDULING INFORMATION AND LINKS

IMPORTANT COURSE CHANGE INFORMATION

Generally, course changes in the fall will not be permitted once a student has registered for classes in the spring. The reason is because the “Master Schedule of Classes” is made from the number of students who have requested a class in the spring. Also, decisions are made regarding staff and room assignments based on how many students are register for each class. As a result, it is imperative that students do a thorough and complete job in selecting their schedule of classes. Some valid reasons for a course change may be:
1) Errors made during registration
2) Changes in vocational plans
3) change necessitated by summer school make-up courses.
The school counselors may approve course changes but any request for a change in classes must be done no later than the first Friday of the semester.
EXCEPTION: AP or Honor courses must be changed prior to the first day of the school year.
