2024 LFHS Summer School Information

This is a 5-week program that offers classes for high school credit, serving as an opportunity for Lake Fenton High School students to recover credits to meet graduation requirements. All classes are held at Lake Fenton MIDDLE SCHOOL in the Library.

Registration begins May 15, 2024

Important Program Dates & Times
All classes will be held at Lake Fenton Middle School.

Dates & Time: 

Monday thru Thursday
June 17 – July 25
8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Week 1: June 17 - 20
Week 2: June 24 - 27
(no classes week of July 4th)
Week 3: July 8- 11
Week 4: July 15 - 18
Week 5: July 22 - 25

Cost: $100

Eligibility
Classes are open to current 9th-12th grade Lake Fenton students who have failed a class and need to recover credits.

Credit
Students will receive one-half (1/2) credit for successful completion of each class.

Attendance
Attendance is required due to the condensed program (only 20 days). After a student receives two absences, they will be removed from the program.
Three tardies equal one absence.  Parents/guardians will be contacted upon student absence.

Student Conduct
Students attending Lake Fenton High Schools Summer School program will be expected to comply with the rules published in the student handbook.  All students with a discipline referral in Summer School will be dismissed from the program.

Online Courses offered:

Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2,
American History, World History, Government, Economics,
Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics,
English 9, English 10, and English 11.

Other elective courses may be available upon counselor recommendation.
