💙⚓️🌎 Ms. Kristy & Ms. Amber's classes celebrated Earth Day last week by combining art with science to make fizzy earth paintings using paint mixed with baking soda and pipettes to add vinegar to make a chemical reaction! They also helped the earth by picking up litter! #LFLeads

Ms. Shelby T's class is deep into the insect study. They used clay and plastic insects to make bug fossils! Using their scientific inquiry skills, they discussed the different types of fossils and tools used to examine them. Next they will wait for them to dry and paint!

Ms. Kristy & Ms. Amber's classes made solar eclipse art using chalk on construction paper and blending with tissue! When they removed the “moon” it left a black circle and the chalk lines were the sun’s corona. They also learned about solar eclipses and how they occur!
