💙🤍Mrs. Kondrat’s Honors English class created snowmen to symbolize Mr. Avery and the moment Scout & Jem first encounter snow. They included textual evidence and theories to connect the materials they used. Staff voted for their favorite! It was a fun class activity!

💙⚓️☀️ Mrs. Shanafelt's class checked out yesterday's solar eclipse and did an experiment using Oreos, investigating the relative size of the sun and moon and how it's possible for our tiny moon to cover our massive sun! ☀️⚓️💙

Ms. Kristy & Ms. Amber's classes made solar eclipse art using chalk on construction paper and blending with tissue! When they removed the “moon” it left a black circle and the chalk lines were the sun’s corona. They also learned about solar eclipses and how they occur!
