💙🤍Mrs. Kondrat’s Honors English class created snowmen to symbolize Mr. Avery and the moment Scout & Jem first encounter snow. They included textual evidence and theories to connect the materials they used. Staff voted for their favorite! It was a fun class activity! #LFLeads

💙⚓️🤍 Mrs Miarka's 5th grade class made food trucks and learned about design and marketing. Students designed their own logos, menus, trucks and also made mini foods with clay in Mrs. Kennedy's art class! 🤍⚓️💙 #LFLeads

💙⚓️🤍 Some of LFMS's 6th and 7th graders went to Camp Copneconic to test the water. They were looking to see what quality Swartz Creek is to help add to data for the Flint River GREEN project. They also were able to see some of the life that lives in the river as well! #LFLeads

Ms. Kristy & Ms. Amber's classes made solar eclipse art using chalk on construction paper and blending with tissue! When they removed the “moon” it left a black circle and the chalk lines were the sun’s corona. They also learned about solar eclipses and how they occur! #LFLeads

💙⚓️☀️ Mrs. Shanafelt's class checked out yesterday's solar eclipse and did an experiment using Oreos, investigating the relative size of the sun and moon and how it's possible for our tiny moon to cover our massive sun! ☀️⚓️💙 #LFLeads
